Squale Giramondo GMT 30 atmos
Description
A classic vintage styled 300 meter GMT dive watch with the characteristic and famous "von Büren" case. A watch case that was part of many famous dive-watches over the decades, as Squale also supplied these to other big and small Swiss brands. A recognition of the sheer quality of engineering and timeless design by Squale founder: Charles von Büren.
This classic diver has a screw-in case back, and a 316L stainless steel case with dimesions of 39mm x 13mm. The short lug to lug dimension of 46mm as well as curved down lug ends ensures a comfortable fit on your wrist. Despite the high water resistance rating of 300 meters the case has been kept to a slim 13mm thanks to the unique case construction.
This highly recognizable shape features a large signed screw-down crown at the 3 o´clock position which is easy to grip and screws in and out very smoothly. The hand-painted dial with the distinctly designed luminescent markers of Superluminova provides excellent legibility in all lighting conditions.
The boldly-shaped uni-directional bezel features a distinctive bakelite insert with hand set markers for a true vintage look. Whilst the scratch-resistant flat sapphire crystal is enhanced with anti-reflective treatment and protects this timepiece up to 300 meters below sea-level or 30 atmosphere of pressure.
The Squale Giramondo GMT is powered by a Swiss made ETA 2893-2 automatic movement which provides mechanical reliability and accuracy under the toughest circumstances. It has a quickset GMT and date funcion and displays the date at the 6 o'clock position.
